Q. Is Grey Eagle Flight Academy an approved school for International students?
ANS. Yes, we are an FAA approved Part 141 school. For more information go to

Q. How long is the course?
ANS. For an average student to complete the CPL course it takes 7- 8 months.

Q. How do I Enroll?
ANS. You are required to complete an International Student Application form and also enclose a copy of your passport.

Q. How long does the training take?
ANS. Every student's training time will be different, since everyone has a different pace of learning. The Private Pilot license requires a minimum of 40-45 hours of flight time to complete, but most students take a little bit longer, since there is simply a lot of information and skill to absorb and develop. In general, full time students spend approximately 6-8 weeks training for their private license. It can be completed in less time.

    ANS. We have 14 aircrafts and counting. We have been growing quite a bit and expanding with all new aircraft...
     
    Q. What is the weather like in San Diego in general?
    ANS. We have excellent weather for flying all throughout the year. The temperatures rarely fall below 70, visibility is great 99% of the time, and the winds are not a problem.
     

    Q. What kind of accommodation can you arrange for International / non-local students?
    ANS. We can arrange accommodation for approximately $500.00 a Month.

    Q. How do I obtain a foreign student visa?

    Q. How old do I need to be to begin training?
    ANS. Flight training can be started at any age, but the day you take the exam, you will have to be 17 for the private pilot test and 18 for the commercial pilot Test.

    Q. Do I need to take any test or exam before I begin with my training?
    ANS. No. You are not required to undertake any pre exam before your training.
